WOW! It is absolutely beautiful outside today! There is hardly a cloud in the sky and the temperature is nice and warm! This morning I woke up and was pretty hungry, but I wanted to run before I ate breakfast. Lately, it’s been hard on my stomach to eat anything too big before running. I snacked on a little watermelon, honeydew, and pineapple and a mini Luna Bar (Nutz Over Chocolate flavor).
This was a really MINI bar! But it did just the trick! Cured my rumbling stomach but did not leave me feeling STUFFED and unable to move without stomach pains. I then set off on a run in the beautiful weather. I decided on a 10 mile run. I ran it in about 1:16, running 7:37/mile. I felt that I was going at a nice pace and I did not feel dead. It was a very nice run! I am getting a nice shorts tan line! Not to mention white feet!
I downed about 4 glasses of ice cold water when I got in the house. That was just what I was craving. I then began to prepare some breakfast. Despite being hot, I still somehow wanted oatmeal!
I made a nice BIG bowl of oats. In the mix included: strawberries, bananas, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, cinnamon, milk, and a drizzle of honey. I also cooked up some oat bran and mixed that into my oat concoction as well! SO DELICIOUS!!!!!
Yum. I really enjoyed that bowl of oatmeal.
I am just finishing up breakfast and it is almost 12. I have to go into Philly today to get fingerprints done for a clearance I need to get done for teaching.
For dinner tonight, I plan to try out this recipe I found on the Food Network for corn, tomato, and avocado salad. It sounds so great! I will probably make that along with BBQ chicken and maybe some broccoli. I may be bringing dinner to Todd’s house tonight to eat with his parents. But I’m not positive yet because I am waiting to hear back from him! Enjoy this beautiful day!
I just had to put another picture of my breakfast. It was fantastic.

Hi,
I’m a fellow RW forumite! I always enjoy reading about how people got into running and how they progressed through the years and handled any difficulties. Maybe you’d want to do your running story for a post.
